We had a lovely time this evening with our newest Petals Galore client. For this 50th Anniversary event, we will use yellow oncidium orchirds and pale blue hydrangeas. The Zodiac Room at the Chase Park Plaza will look fabulous when we set everything in place for this June 10th event. All paperwork is complete and sent to the client. I’m really on the ball this evening!

Here is a gorgeous design that I created for SUSAN G. KOMEN “POWER OF A PROMISE” luncheon. This will sit in front of there lecturn. This is my second year to provide flowers for this event. This would also make a beautiful design at any Ceremony site.

One of our favorite boutonnieres. Mini Calla Lily and dendrobium orchid. A delicate fern shoot is accented with bronze wire. The black satin ribbon finishes the design, making it the perfect accompaniment for a black tie affair!

The Venues: Graham Chapel on the campus of Washington University and Forest Park Visitors Center
At Graham we designed a very large arrangement to sit on top of the organ and two matching vases to sit on Graham’s pedestals. The pew decor was a mixture of floral swags and alternating satin bows. The mother of the bride was thrilled that her ceremony vision was fulfilled. The reception table designs were a mixture of white and ivory flowers with a champagne ribbon accent on the containers. Her bridal bouquet was a mixture of lily of the valley, dendrobium orchids, peonies, tulips, lisianthus and roses.

This wedding was flawlessly executed by Sabrina Torti and her team at Proposing Dreams.

An abundant Spring centerpiece. Love the lilacs. They are one of my favorite fragrances.

This is one of our “Boutique Designs”. Nine blue hydrangeas and 30 stems of blush tulips intertwined in curly willow and accented with seeded eucalyptus makes for one spectacular design. This birthday design was a hit with Andrea. Call us today to make you look like a hero to your sweetheart!

Ruffled tulips. They take on a very unique look. These purple ones will look adorable for a maids bouquet.

What is more exciting than a party? A Black Tie Event! My husband and I will be attending ALIVE Magazine’s 10 year anniversary party at the Peabody Opera House. I think I will wear my red satin gown. Red is my “signature” color you know! Since this is creative black tie, I bought my husband some black low-top Converse tennis shoes. I can’t wait to dance the evening away! I will let you all know how the event went! Have a great weekend!
