Thank you Nancy, my December 13, 2009 bride,  for making the last wedding of the year spectacular and such an over whelming joy.  I love clients who not only trust my skill level but allow me the freedom to do what I do best;  creating an amazing bouquet that I am so proud of.  This bouquet is truly indicative of our desire to create a one-of -a kind look just for you!

I had the pleasure of working on so many articles in the premiere issue.  This is my favorite.  Take a look at all of the different mint julep designs that I came up with.  One style may surely work for your next party or event.

Once again, leave it to my fabulous Lead Designer, Stephanie, to create these gorgeous bouquets for Amy and Sherah our two October 11 brides .  Stephanie has certainly blossomed into one fantastic designer.  I work extremely close with the client to understand the look and feel that she wants.  I translate this into carefully selected floral material.  As I walk market and gather the flowers, I can see the bouquet designed in my mind’s eye.

The most exciting part is putting this beautiful floral material in front of Stephanie, explaining my vision and watching her execute it flawlessly.   In this particular case, I designed the personal flowers; boutonnieres and corsage.  ENJOY!

It was an amazing party!  The Grand Opening of the Red Kitchen/Bar at the Hyatt Regency Downtown.  In conjuction with Alive Magazines Sexy & Successful Event.  There was fabulous food and signature shots!  Have you ever tried Raspberry Vodka and Red Bull?  It was delicious!  Great friends were there like my dear friend, Johnny Danrich of the Omni Majestic Hotel.  We had our photos taken all evening long, here are just a few of them.  In additional to great friends being there, I met some amazing new professionals.  Not that I’m a name dropper, but here goes.  Errol of Helms Briscoe, Josephine of NAACP, Stephanie of Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club, (photographer for 1st photo), Susan of Embassy Suites, Harry of Moonrise, and Rose Ann of the Hyatt.  A great evening was had by all and my driver Ari took amazing care of me so I didn’t have to drive through any downtown traffic!  Love drop off and pick up service!

This centerpiece was designed by the fabulous, Stephanie Stempf, Lead Designer!  The objective was to design a lush Garden varietyof purple flowers.  The linens on this table was a deep plum and the napkins and chargers were silver.  The combination was stunning!  Brides you are in great hands with Stephanie!  Feel free to request a consultation with her anytime by contacting her at:  stephanie@petalsgalore.com

Every wonder what in the world to do with Extra Large Bubble Bowls?  So did Sun Rental on St. Charles Rk Rd.  When Christine called me to come over and do some florals for her showroom, I was messmerized by this bowl.  Upon delivering the finished piece, everyone was thrilled with the outcome.  I hope it helps them rent their glassware!  I love this don’t you???

This is my new fav.  It is a smaller centerpiece but packs a whoolop!  By using tradtional type florals but adding some tropical greens, this centerpiece has a fresh,  modern look!  Enjoy the art!
